Let's get going!

Application materials for 2010-11 Ambassadorial Scholarships, Rotary World Peace Fellowships, and Rotary Grants for University Teachers are now available from district scholarships subcommittee chairs.

Club presidents-elect should be registered for the presidents-elect training seminar. Incoming presidents, secretaries, treasurers, and committee chairs also should be registered for the district assembly.

Data forms for the 2009-10 Official Directory, due 31 December, are still being accepted. Clubs should immediately report their incoming officers using Member Access or by writing to data@rotary.org.

The Rotarian magazine is accepting submissions for its annual photo contest. Rotarians should send their photos from 2008-09 that best illustrate Service Above Self by 1 March. Find contest rules and submission guidelines at www.rotary.org.

Club presidents-elect should complete the club assessment section and draft annual goals in the Planning Guide for Effective Rotary Clubs. Presidents-elect and other incoming club leaders should further refine these goals at the district assembly, seek approval from the incoming board, and submit them to the assistant governor by 1 July.
